I am not talking about most people's political stance - Right, Centre or Left. What I AM asking about is: how comfortable are people with discovering where hate is waiting to catch the ill-informed or unwary pagan or 'Interfaith' person?
I have run across many sites with very dodgy people and groups involved in them. However, I realize that for many, being unaware of them or not bothered by what are perceived as a few nazi nut-jobs is not a problem. Obviously, it's a problem for me because if it WASN'T a problem, why are people still being intimidated, beaten and killed by these types?
Yes, it is unlikely you yourself will be. They are having a right go at myself now,and in no way am I complacent - I know to my sorrow not to be.
There are also other people out there who would like your support to their greater glory and your suffering. Anybody that knows me and the situation knows I'm not making 'drama' out of nothing. Also , the fact that they have tried multiple times to hack me yesterday and today tells me a nerve has been hit - big time. Pagan groups are viewed as one of their prime hunting grounds and of course, there are those that still follow the Reichstag cobbled together myths and religions.
So, do we take it further? I'm not talking about 'witch hunts' or imaginary bogey men under the bed. I'm talking about the wolves that can be tracked back to their lairs (with proof) and the people giving them shelter.
What say you?

It makes me very uncomfortable knowing that this hate is spreading through many pagan groups, but it makes me even more uncomfortable knowing that many people just can't see it, or are shutting their eyes to it and even making excuses for these people. I'm with you.

I have no problem, as long as the proof is posted openly, examined, discussed, etc. Implied proofs and guilt by association don't turn me on - I had to study McCarthyism in school and it left a really bad taste in my head.
People who think their own tribe/race/family/sportsteam is better than any other don't bother me - I see it as making the best of what they've been handed by genetics and fate. People who want to do bad things to those who don't share that tribe/race/family/sportsteam for only that reason bother me enormously.
Name and shame, make lists, post warnings, etc., as long as the proof is there. Luckily in the pagan world people tend to be proud of their isms so the proof is usually right there in their own words.
