Well, seeing as I have made my position clear over on another thread.
Hi, i am jools, and anyne who has been around pagan forums for a while will probably recognise me. I may not have collected as many bannings as Illgrace, but I have a few, mainly because I speak my mind, and have very high morals and ethics.
I loathe prejudice in any form, and find that those who bleat about Freedom of Speech only want it on their side - if anyone they are speaking against talk right back they get ever so cross.
I am honoured to be a member of this board. I just wonder why there aren't a flood of people on here. After all, I don't know anyone who supports racism and fascism within paganism. Probably that ennui I hear so much about.

Hi all, I have joined because of an invite from Rowan on DevonPagans. I am very opposed to fascism and racism, so would like to offer my support in any way I can. bb Jim -------------------

cursuswalker here, joining in the wake of Trinny and Susannah making out that all the protestors at the Long Man of Wilmington last Summer were members of Woden's Folk, when there were many polite druids there and only two, very unpleasant, members of that organisation.
It's sad this board is needed...but it so is.

Sorry Cursus, had to do that. :-P
Anyway I am Wake. Married to the beautiful Nicky who is t weeks away from delivering our first bambino. :-)
I'm on a couple of other forums and have been heavily involved with the TnS Longman thing.
I love the idea of being truely free where is no one cares where you are from or what you believe. As long as you don't harm then you are cool in my book.

Hi. My name is Silence. I've been lurking but it's getting a little hard to find the ends of threads, so I joined so I could get the 'new' button. I don't tend to post much most places. I'm a past student of anthropology and linguistics and a present professional tarot card reader. I tend not to be moved by emotive language. I parse and analyse it more often, and perform arcane linguistic transactions. Sometimes a whole long post will render down to a single statement or two that answers the question I might otherwise have posted. Makes me a fairly quiet member. I'm racially a mutt and politically a liberal. I have several heritages to be proud of and have always felt a little sorry for those with only one. On the other hand I do understand ethnocentrism and do not disapprove of it as a passive stance. When it becomes active, fascistic, racist, etc. I lose respect. I've been accused of racism (recently) because of my stance on plastic shamans. I tend to look at such accusations of others carefully, and will chase links down the rabbit hole and will look up books and articles to see if a quote is being used out of context. Just call me suspicious. I'm nasty, cynical, shallow, and mocking. Another reason not to post much. My contributions to things are usually in the 'moderate voice' category, simply because I'm too lazy for extremism and too tired for outrage. I'm a life-long pagan with a transactional relationship with my people's gods. Not very sweet or reverent, but not troubled by religious doubts either. I'd say I recognize 95% of the names here from lurking elsewhere. There are some here who will probably recognize me, too. Enough of the novel. Can't finish nano but can ramble on forever in an introduction. Silence

Sorry - thought I'd already joined. 'Tis me.
Occasional ranter, shallow, and definitely really me.
